While hiking with her companion in Rocky Mountain National Park, Toni plummeted 130 feet. Authorities claim that Henthorn killed her so that he could get the $4.5 million in life insurance payments.

Before being found guilty, the killer said that Toni was a wonderful lady he loved unconditionally. However, he did not murder anyone, not even Toni.
