Erin Foster has shared a shocking tale about her time on the hit teen drama ‘The O.C.’, revealing she was treated poorly by the main cast during her guest stint.
The 42-year-old actress appeared on the popular series alongside stars like Mischa Barton and Cam Gigandet, but her experience was far from glamorous.
Speaking on her podcast ‘The World’s First Podcast’, Erin opened up about her humiliating encounter with the show’s regular cast members.
“I was not allowed to talk to anybody on the set of The OC,”
Erin Foster revealed to guest Adam Brody.
“I have one memory of someone coming into the makeup trailer and being like, ‘I’m ordering Nobu, who wants some?’ And they just walked right past me, like I was not allowed to put an order in.”
Adam quipped in response, “I don’t think I ever got Nobu on ‘The O.C.’.” Erin’s candid admission comes as a surprise given her current success in the entertainment industry.
The actress, who is known for creating Adam’s new TV show ‘Nobody Wants This’, confessed that she deliberately kept her ‘O.C.’ role a secret from Adam. She explained,
“I really didn’t want you to find out about this because I didn’t want you to lose respect for me being a loser guest star on ‘The O.C.’ when I was trying to get you to trust me with this piece of art that we were gonna do together.”
Adam responded humorously,
“There’s so many people that I’ve worked with that have usurped me. And now you’re one of them.”
Despite her embarrassing experience on ‘The O.C.’, Erin seems to have moved beyond it, focusing instead on her current projects and collaborations with fellow actors.
This revelation offers a glimpse into the often harsh realities of working in Hollywood, particularly for those who appear in guest roles or supporting positions. It also highlights the sometimes difficult relationships between guest stars and the main cast of television shows.
